Emmet County Public Health is seeking a full time (35 hour) Office Assistant. This position includes full-time benefits including paid vacation, sick leave, health and life insurance and IPERS retirement program.
The Office Assistant is responsible for greeting and assisting customers, answering phones, data entry, filing and mailings; scheduling and coordinating immunization clinics and making appointments for customers; maintaining client charts and confidentiality; assisting nurses with preparing programming paperwork; participate in Public Health activities in the community; other duties as outlined in the job description below.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in office setting preferred. Minimum job requirements: must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs and computer literate; be detail oriented and organized; must have the ability to work with frequent interruptions and be able to multitask.
